All Dover Cylinder Head remanufactured cylinder heads are warranted against
defects and are not unconditionally guaranteed against all hazards. All
Dover Cylinder Head remanufactured cylinder heads are warranted for a period
of 12 months or 12,000 miles, which ever comes first.
Warranty is void regardless of time or mileage under any of the following
conditions:
- Improper installation or application
- Faulty cooling system - radiator, water pump, thermostat, etc...
- Engine overheating
- Heat Tab melted or removed.
This warranty is limited to replacement of defective cylinder head only.
No labor allowance is given or intended. The obligations assumed under this
warranty are limited to replacement of defective cylinder head only, as
herein provided, and are in lieu of all other obligations, warranties or
guarantees, either expressed or implied.
The cylinder head in question must be returned to Dover Cylinder Head
for inspection and failure / defect analysis. It is understood that the
return of the defective cylinder head is essential and that no warranty
consideration will be given without doing so.
The cylinder head must be returned uncleaned and without removal of any
valves, springs, and/or other related parts. Replacement or Credit, if due,
will be issued only after such conditions have been met.
